Artist Statement

It is through the neccessity to create that I am an artist, woman, business owner, director, fabricator, teacher, student, and dreamer. My satisfaction in creating art comes from how it makes people feel . My goal is that the viewer finds wonder on the basis of beauty, intrigue in its technical craft, and curiosity in the underlying concept . Art is an expression through the use of a visual language. My language consists of glass and metal. Within my representational work, I choose to explore where we are from, and where we are going as intellectual, emotional, and spiritual beings. Most importantly, where we ARE. Other times my artwork serves to create a welcoming and compelling atmosphere in homes as well as in the public. My sculptures grace galleries, homes, architectural spaces, and the public. I hope you will find beauty and meaning in my work.
